Staying up late nights to design and build, this is a site I created as a free resource to help our community connect with and support local businesses during the hardship faced due to COVID-19.
Covid-19 and Suffering Local Businesses
With orders to shut down on-site service, local food-service businesses were struggling to stay afloat--especially considering sit-down services had accounted for 80-95% of their revenue. With limited resources and lack of time, restaurants, bakeries, bars, breweries and the like were scrambling to update their websites with information on their services. They needed all the boost they could get--that's where SupportCarolinas.com was born.
Late Nights & Lots of Coffee
As mentioned earlier, this site was a passion project of mine to help struggling businesses. In a hurry, I designed and developed SupportCarolinas.com as a free resource to help our community connect with and support local businesses during the hardship faced due to COVID-19.
With a few late nights and lots of coffee to help me during the day--and of course with the love and support of my wife and baby-girl--we hope this site adds value to those around us, especially in such a difficult time.
